The
Harris TV Channel 2 amplifier module was purchased on eBay. These
modules came out of decommissioned analog TV transmitters.
Modification consists of making new 48V 100A power supply as well as
RF I/O connectors, along with implementing a new cooling system.
Nevertheless, Low Pass Filter and T/R relay handling 1KW also had to
be built.

Power Supply for 1KW SSPA
Built
this power supply out of 4 identical connected in series HP server
power supplies that each provide 12V 75A on 120 AC or 100A when
powered by 240AC. I added the Harris SSPA error annunciator. I had
rock solid stable voltage but later on turned out that this PS was
creating wide RFI so I scrapped it and replaced by ready to use 50V
switching supply from similar background but much quieter.
